Trey (10 out of 10 ) This is the best Western you'll ever see!
sidi said ahmed (10 out of 10 ) The coolest western movie I had ever seen!
Lucinda Lippens (10 out of 10 ) Tombstone is the best movie I have ever and will ever see. I totally fell in love with Doc Holliday played by Val Kilmer and I just love everything about the movie. It is for sure a must see movie.
Kelly (10 out of 10 ) Live in Tucson and just got back from Tombstone today, what a great place! They will be having the cast there this year to celebrate the 125th year, love this movie and had a great time in the town.
Mo.-Bro (10 out of 10 ) BEST MOVIE PERIOD. The good part is this is the best a western can get. The bad part is this is the best a western can get.
carlie (10 out of 10 ) I love this movie!
Casey (10 out of 10 ) Best movie of all time. My sister and I watch it constantly.
Ashley (10 out of 10 ) I am a western movie fan and I believe that this is one of the best interpretations of Wyatt Earp and john Doc Holliday. Kurt Russel and the handsome Val Kilmer play their characters so perfectly, that you would think that they actually lived in the old west.
deb (10 out of 10 ) We saw this movie in the theater when it first came out, we thought just after holliday shot ringo, doc said "what's the matter johnny, having trouble thinking?". Did this line get deleted somewhere along the line?
David (10 out of 10 ) I have researched the shoot-out and this movie is very very close to the real event. The only key discrepency I found was the size of the lot where the gunfight took place. It was much smaller then in the movie. Also, I don't buy the idea that the Earps were all that innocent. They did their share of pushing this event into happening. Still, this is one of the best westerns ever made. Some great performances all around.
Wyatt (10 out of 10 ) I was named after the guy who didn't even got shot at that shoot-out in Tombstone. I watched it when i was 12 and i kept watching it. I'm a big Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer fan. It's the best god damn movie i ever dreamed of. But i don't know of how could Doc kill Johnny Ringo or Wyatt Earp. But i looked up when Wyatt said that he killed Doc. But he's not that fast. But Doc really damn fast.
Sydney Horn (5 out of 10 ) It if were not for Glenn Boyer most of this information would not have been known and then even knowing the truth Hollywood had to change history. The truth about what happened in Tombstone was not quite how it was portrayed in Tombstone. Too bad Hollywood does not tell the whole story and tell the truth about what really happened.
Martin (10 out of 10 ) I've read where Ringo committed suicide; some say Wyatt killed him. All agree there was a rivalry between Doc and Ringo, and some sort of mutual respect or aknowledgement that both were the most dangerous from either side. Either way, I like thinking that Doc got him.
Larry (10 out of 10 ) I grew up in Tucson, visited Tombstone several times, and I am an avid fan of Arizona history. I also lived in the time period and town where the real gunfight took place. It is historically accurate and correct, for the most part. This is one of the best films I have ever viewed.
Hadya (10 out of 10 ) Thank you. A lot of these sheriffs got their jobs because they were known to be people who were comfortable with guns. Several were asked to leave a town once they, cleaned it up because society didn't want that kind of people living with them as neighbors. Some of the real gun slingers were serial killers and only used their guns to challenge other would-be gunslingers. And the dime novels from back east would pick up a name in the west and just make them out to be heroes.
Justin Russo (9 out of 10 ) This is not the best western I've ever seen. It is great, however, let's not forget about all of the Clint Eastwood films, including Pale Rider, which includes the same exact biblical quote as appears in this film about, "behold a pale horse and the one who sat on him was death." This film is everything you'd hope a western would be. Polished and "Hollywood," in lieu of gritty and real, this film still holds strong with great performances by the actors and truly incredible directing.
